June 2008, Part 2
Well it's only just over 2 weeks until the start of our US adventure, although it feels as if it already started this week! That’s because on Monday we delivered " No. 2!", our second Land Rover defender to Southampton docks, where tomorrow (20th) he will board a ship to Los Angeles. The journey should take approx. 3 weeks so hopefully he will arrive just a few days after us.
We were hoping to leave him in storage in the US for a year, and although Customs were more than happy with this, the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) have said that the vehicle must leave the country when we do. Disappointing, but hey rules are rules! And this means we get to use him back in the UK.
All the university results are back in and I’m delighted to say it was passes all round in Psychology, Politics and Business & Management. I can’t believe how quickly the first year has gone in, and I’m looking forward to the next year.
I have also just enrolled on an intensive NLP (Neuro-Liguistic Programing) Practitioner course in September with John Grinder who is of course one of the co-creators of NLP, so that’s really exciting, and something I’m already looking forward to.
The Louise Hay Heal Your Life Weekend in September is filling up fast, with only 5 places left. The Daily Record are running an article in the next week or two, so if anyone is thinking of joining us, now is the time to book!
