About Lindy

In 1991 after leaving a lengthy abusive and unhealthy relationship, and armed with no qualifications and no money, but a whole bunch of debt, and with a 4 year old and 2 year old to raise, Lindy was determined to create a better life and future for her family. She was successful in joining the Scottish Ambulance Service and spent the next 12 years as an Ambulance Paramedic in the NHS, during which time she became the first female Paramedic in North Ayrshire and the first female Paramedic in Scotland to gain a position with Helimed 5, Scotland's Ambulance Helicopter, and has won various awards including being voted runner-up in the prestigious NHS Health Service Awards.

Free consultationHowever, due to work related events, Lindy suffered a complete physical and mental breakdown and was forced to retire early through ill-health. For the next 2 years Lindy battled with PTSD and severe clinical depression, and it was only after applying a combination of Positive Psychology and Hypnotherapy as well as conventional medicine, that Lindy managed to overcome her illness and despite losing her career, her salary, her savings and her home, she managed to regain full health.

Lindy was again determined to turn things around and embark on a new Career. Using her extensive medical background as well as her experience as a regular speaker within various Hospitals, Schools, Clubs, Colleges and local Businesses Lindy became a qualified Hypnotherapist, Thought Field Therapist, Life Coach, Career Coach and Motivational Speaker.

As well as running the successful Moreland Clinic in Glasgow, Lindy also Coaches both Individual and Corporate clients as well as developing and facilitating powerful Self-Development Workshops.

Lindy Irving Lindy is also in growing demand as a Motivational Speaker with one Client describing her style as ‘Wickedly Inspiring!’
Lindy Irving Lindy also continues to develop her knowledge and skills by ongoing study and further training and is currently studying Psychology, Business & Management and Politics at Glasgow University.
Lindy Irving Lindy has been lucky enough to have been invited to appear in various newspapers, magazines and TV including Woman, Woman's Own, Daily Record, Sunday Mail, The Sun, Sky TV, BBC News & ITV's 'Room at the Top'.

Lindy named The Moreland Clinic after her beloved Dad - William Moreland Irving - who she describes as having always been her greatest inspiration.
